The 7 Paper Goods You Need for Your Wedding

When wedding stationary comes to mind, the first thing you think of is your invitations.

Of course, those are one of the most important aspects of your wedding stationary, but they aren’t the whole shebang.

Many people overlook the stationary details, such as creative ways to do their save the dates, rsvps, wedding programs and more.

Here is a list of stationary to think about:

1. Invitations:
This is the major piece to think about, and it will probably cost ou the most money. Make sure to think about paper stock, size and embellishments, they call all add to mailing cost. Also keep in mind:

  • Maps
  • Reception Information
  • Where You are Registered
  • RSVP
  • Envelopes

2. Save the Date Card:
One alternative to send these through the mail is to send out a save the date email or to create a super cute stop action save the date video.

3. Wedding Programs:
Lots of brides wait til a month or two before the wedding to worry about these, which is okay. 4. Dinner Menu & Drink Menu:
You don’t necessarily need to do a menu for your wedding, but it adds a custom touch to your tables. One way to go green with this idea is to write your menu on a chalkboard.. there are a few other cute ideas here.

5. Escort Cards:
I have a crush on escort cards. There are so many amazing ways you can display your guests’ escort cards, the ideas are endless. I found some super cute ideas here. 

6. Table Numbers:

My crush on escort cards extends to the table numbers that go with them. Whether you choose to do these in paper or another creative way, don’t make these an afterthought. Martha Stewart  has some

7. Thank Yous
Last but certainly not least, your thank you cards are just as important as your invitations. It’s the final piece of your wedding stationary, and it helps your guest remember how much fun they had on your special day.
