Music Monday: I Won’t Give Up

| Music, Wedding Ideas

Cause even the stars they burn, some even fall to the earth.
We’ve got a lot to learn, God knows we’re worth it.

When I first heard I Won’t Give Up by Jason Mraz, I instantly fell. in. love.

Such sweet words.

Do you love it as much as I do? Share in the comments below.

Music Monday: The Gambler

| Music, Wedding Ideas

I swear when I grow up I won’t just buy you a roseI will buy the flower shop, and you will never be lonely.

Fun. has been super popular lately, but while you might love their new album, I’m in love with lots of the songs on their first album, especially one called The Gambler.

Lead singer Nate Ruess wrote this song for his parents, and it’s a song about picture perfect love – a love I hope to have for the rest of my life.

Take a listen :

Music Monday: One True Love

| Music, Wedding Ideas

I am a voice, I am a voice without any sound.
I’m a treasure map that nobody found when I’m without you.

Such sweet lyrics from Sleeping at Last’s Dear True Love. Definitely one for the wedding playlist!

Music Monday: Just Say Yes

| Inspiration, Music, Wedding Ideas

What better wedding song than one that talks about saying YES?

You’re right – not many. Today’s song is Just Say Yes by Snow Patrol and it’s perfect for your wedding playlist.

Some adorable lyrics for you:
It’s so simple and you know it is, you know it is
We can’t be to and fro like this all our lives
You’re the only way to me the path is clear
What do I have to say to you, for God’s sake, dear

Cute, right? Love it.

Music Monday: Kissing You + a little bit of Leo :)

| Inspiration, Music, Wedding Ideas

Happy Monday!

Do you remember having to watch the original version of Romeo and Juliet in school after you read the book? At my school, we were lucky enough to watch parts of both the 1968 version and the 1996 version, and after seeing Leo play Romeo, I fell in love.

The Leonardo + Claire version of Romeo and Juliet is still one of my favorite movies – after  just watching the video below of Des’ree’s Kissing You, I’m running downstairs to get the dvd and pop it in to watch while I work.

Gahh, I LOVE it!

Pride can stand a thousand trials
The strong will never fall,
But watching stars without you,
My soul cried.

Seriously, don’t you wanna watch the whole movie now? Do it!
