I’m still in Colorado today, and we’re now in Denver! One thing I love about Denver is the sense of style that people have. It’s kinda grungy, 90’s + hipster and I’m in love with it, so today’s post is dedicated to all you hipsters out there.
Things that make this wedding perfect – the groom’s hair, hipster glasses, vintage details, music and temporary tattoos as favors.
Who wants to recreate this one? I sure do!
How fun are those gold painted animals? Haha, I don’t know why I love them so much 🙂

Happy Thursday dears!
I hope you had a great Independence Day – I relaxed at home and did much much needed organizing – I’ve been bringing things home from work (who knew I had so much stuff there!) and needed to get it all put away, my last day is next Friday!
Today’s theme is a garden theme, but it’s different from the garden themes I’ve done in the past – this one’s devoted to veggie gardens!
It may sound odd, but there are some really fun and beautiful things you can do with this theme – think Farmer’s Market style. Its rustic and colorful and I love how it turned out!
So what’s the verdict? Would you consider a veggie themed day?
Have a great Thursday!

You know that I like to be a bit crafty, so today’s theme is one of my favorites.
I love how the color palette for this Stitched theme came together – the colors work so
well together and the feel of this wedding is super fun.
My vision for this theme was to have the stitched thread look throughout, and I feel like that vision was accomplished, complete with stitching on the invites (a reoccurring dream of mine), stitched details on the cake and stitched table numbers.
I’d love to help plan a wedding like this someday.
I mean come on, candy button favors? What could be more perfect?
P.S.. Make sure you check out hgtv.com’s Design Happens blog tomorrow – my newest project is being featured + we’re doing a scholarship giveaway!

Happy Thursday Dolls!
As a former server and bartender at a wine focused restaurant for years, I know my wine pretty well. I’m dying to plan a trip to California or Italy and visit some vinyards.
And so, today’s theme is wine country. With deep, rich hues and wood details, this would be a fairy tale wedding.
Isn’t it lovely? I can just picture a gorgeous outdoor affair – both for the ceremony and reception with tables among the vines.

It’s Thursday again, and I have been looking forward to today’s theme for a while now because I have fallen in love with Portlandia on IFC – have you heard of it or seen it? They do a sketch called Put a Bird on It and it cracks me up. Watch it here.
Okay so the real inspiration for this post was all of the amazing bird inspired decor from BHLDN and a lovely spring garden party. When you combine the two, you get a gorgeous wedding day theme with light teals and peaches along side lucious florals.
This theme is super pretty.
I think those adorable little bobby pins are my favorite. How amazing would that be for something blue? And those hanging birdcages are super pretty.

Only a few more days until St. Patty’s day, and the weather here in little old Iowa is absolutely amazing – it’s been in the upper 70’s all week! Almost unheard of, so I’m enjoying every moment I get to be outdoors.
Today’s theme is called The Luckiest, and it’s perfectly aligned with the upcoming Irish holiday with lovely green details and a gorgeous ruffled dress.
The name comes from the Ben Fold’s song, and I know this isn’t Music Monday but I’m in love with the song.
“And where was I before the day that I first saw your lovely face? Now I see it everyday and I know that I am, I am, I am the luckiest…”
In love with that song. Hear the rest here.
Such a lovely looking day.

My girly + whimsical side has emerged today [despite my lack of sleep + collectedness after my long weekend in Vegas] and I’m in love with today’s theme!
Ever since I saw BHLDN use balloons in their marketing pieces I have wanted to theme a wedding around balloons and I could not be more happy with how today’s turned out.
A springy, pastel palette that reflects the color of translucent balloons is gorgeous, and paired with light colored touches this makes out to be such a whimsical [and a tiny bit vintage] theme.
I’m in love with the programs, I did something similar for my lovely friend Lindsay’s wedding back in August. And the variety in the dresses is lovely.
Have a wonderful and warm day my loves!
