One of my favorite things about June and July is that I can head out to my garden and cut a bouquet of fresh flowers for my kitchen counter or nightstand. My husband’s grandpa used the be the head groundskeeper for his city, so our gardens have the most amazing flowers in them.
My favorites: my peonies, my poppies and most of all, my 6 hydrengea plants. There’s nothing better than walking into the house after a long day at work and seeing a vase full of fresh cut blooms + having their fragrance fill the house. I love it!
So pretty, right?

I’ve had an obsession with hydrengeas since my wedding – they were the main flower in my bouquet + centerpieces. Because my wedding colors were green and white + hydrengeas change color throughout the season, I loved how we could use them in my bouquet no matter what color they ended up being at the time of my wedding.
I love how delicate they are.
Since the wedding, we’d added 5(!) hydrengea bushes to our yard, and I get so excited to see them bloom each year. When it starts to get chilly out at then end of summer, I snip the blooms off an dry them – I love em that way too!

I am so happy spring is here!
I love the newness that spring brings, and I love seeing the flowers sprout up!
The theme of the blog is this week is kind of a vintage, boho, hippe style, and what better fit are floral crowns?
I’m in love with this idea for your wedding day hair decor. These would be perfect for a boho, laid back retro, vintage style wedding day.
How lovely are these? I would totally wear one of these if I could redo my wedding.
If you like these, you’ll love tomorrow’s theme – check back tomorrow!
