DIY: Fringy, Frilly Streamers

| DIY, Wedding Ideas

Like I mentioned last Friday, I just bought the Martha Stewart Fringe Scissors and have been searching the internet for projects I can use them on.

Today, I am sharing with you how to make super fun and frilly streamers.

All you need is a few different colors of crepe paper streamers and some
scissors. I am using the fringe scissors.

Trim off a piece of streamer. Starting at one end, cut 1/3 to 1/2 inch slices. Make sure you don’t cut farther than the center of the streamer otherwise you will only be able to fringe one side.

Repeat until you get to the end of the streamer and then do the same on the other side.

Do this on as many streamers as you need and hang them like you would a normal streamer.

See? Super simple… Rocky even loved them!

Sorry, couldn’t resist sharing this picture of him.. he is so precious

What would you use these frilly streamers for?

Real Weddings: Just Married Sign

| DIY, Inspiration, Real Weddings

Last weekend was the most fun I’ve had since my own wedding. It was one of my best friend’s picture perfect wedding – white church, sun shining through the stained glass window, gorgeous bride, and we released balloons in to the sky as we rode off on the hayrack ride.

The ‘Just Married’ sign on the back of the hayrack was the easiest thing ever to make, and the streamers and banners perfected it.

It was definitely a day I will always remember 🙂
