Music Monday: The Way You Look Tonight

| Inspiration, Music, Wedding Ideas

Happy Monday!

It’s the first Monday in October, and it’s getting a bit chilly here in Iowa!

Fall is in full swing and colors of rust, eggplant and navy are creeping their way into fall weddings.

Total gorgeousness.

Today’s song takes us back a bit – back to the Rat Pack Era. I love Frank Sinatra’s version of ‘The Way You Look Tonight‘ – it’s a classic wedding song and is perfect for a 1950’s or 1960’s style wedding.

Listen to it below:

Some day, when I’m awfully low,
When the world is cold,
I will feel a glow just thinking of you
And the way you look tonight.

You’re lovely, with your smile so warm
And your cheeks so soft,
There is nothing for me but to love you,
And the way you look tonight.

With each word your tenderness grows,
Tearing my fears apart
And that laugh that wrinkles your nose,
Touches my foolish heart.

Yes you’re lovely, never, ever change
Keep that breathless charm.
Won’t you please arrange it?
‘Cause I love you
Just the way you look tonight.

With each word your tenderness grows,
Tearing my fears apart
And that laugh that wrinkles your nose,
Touches my foolish heart.

Yes you’re lovely, never, ever change
Keep that breathless charm.
Won’t you please arrange it?
‘Cause I love you
Just the way you look tonight.
Just the way you look tonight.
Darling
Just the way you look tonight.

Such a classic and classy love song.
