Recent Work: Vintage Travel Inspired Graduation Invitations

In my world, antiques are a family business. I own an antique store with my brother and sister-in-law. My husband and I bought out an old antique store’s inventory with his parents last summer. So in our family, when someone has a party, you know it’s going to be vintage-infused.

It was no different when my little sister-in-law was planning her graduation party. She was adopted into the family when she was 11 or 12 and has come such a long way in the past 8 years, so this party was a pretty big deal for my in-laws. It was a chance to celebrate not only graduating, but to celebrate everything she has overcome in her life – it was an entrance into a whole new chapter in her life, one that we hope will be really great for her.

When it came to invitations – I was pumped to design something. We were going to decorate with old books, globes, boxes and suitcases, so we decided on a vintage travel type invitation design. We liked the look of a tag, so that’s what we went with.

OWL Breanna Invitation

So much fun, right? Once I get some good photos taken, they be added to my Etsy shop. They’d be great for any sort of party or wedding I think, and they’re printed on a nice thick cotton cardstock to give them some substance.

If you’re interested in these, keep an eye on my Etsy shop or contact me here.
