My Beautiful Barn Baby Shower

Last weekend my sister-in-law, sister and bf threw me an absolutely adorable baby shower – I can’t get over how much detail and planning was put into it and I love how it turned out!

The venue was perfection, there is a farm just outside of town that used to do craft shows and flea markets, and the owner has since used it as a venue for weddings and parties. My sister-in-law reached out to the owner about using for the shower, and I was so excited when I found out we got it. The decor was rustic – burlap, lace and hydrangeas which means it was right up my alley!

The girls made all the food, and Cafe Fresh did the cupcakes – I may have indulged a bit on those! And the favors – guys they were the cutest thing ever. They found some mini mason jars, painted and distressed them and then filled them with succulents – I took 3 home for my kitchen window sill and I love them.

After everything was said and done, we ended up going home with a truck full of gifts for the baby – we were definitely spoiled and blessed to have so many wonderful people in our lives!

And after a week of arranging and rearranging Baby H’s bedroom and putting his little onesies and newborn diapers into drawers, I finally feel like we’re almost ready for his arrival, as terrifying and excited as it is. 6.5 weeks to go!

Your shower looks beautiful! Congratulations on baby Holden arriving! I hope you are loving motherhood. I was wondering where your baby shower was held? It looks like an awesome venue!

Thanks so much Sarah, and CONGRATS on your engagement! SO exciting! We used Kuhl's Under the Sun's barn for the shower, she rents it out for events, her daughter's wedding was held there and sounded gorgeous! Let me know if you want her phone number!
