DIY Bohemian Boutonniere

When it comes to your wedding day, it can be hard deciding what to splurge on (I wanted to splurge on everything!) and where you can save a few bucks. DIYing your boutonnieres can help you save!

The fun thing about boutonnieres is that they don’t have to all look the same – you can mix and match elements to fit the details of your day. So feel free to use whatever materials you want to.

For This Bout I Used:

– Baby’s Breath (the little white flowers)
– Gypsophilia (the little peach flowers)
– Fake Flowers from Hobby Lobby (the deep teal flowers)
– Guinea Feathers
– Fabric Feathers (similar to these from 100 Layer Cake)
– Sissel Rope
– Arrowhead Charm (from Hobby Lobby)
– Tag
– Glue Gun
– Scissors

To Assemble:

Assembly is super easy! All you have to do is layer your different pieces together, securing the Sissel with a touch of hot glue once you’ve wrapped it around the base of your bout. Then, trim off any stems that may be sticking out the end. Add a pin and you’re all set!

So cute + simple, right?

I wanna know – would you attempt making your own bouquets/centerpieces/boutonnieres for your wedding? Share your thoughts in the comments!

Have a lovely afternoon!

Xo, Mariah
