Cute Little Things.

Things are pretty real around here these days, I’m 36 and a half weeks pregnant which means that really, baby could come at any time. It’s both the most exciting and the most terrifying thing I think I’ve ever had to deal with. Justin and I have had 10 wonderful pre-kiddo years together, so it’ll be interesting to see how our relationship changes and grows once little baby H is here.

One of the most fun things about pregnancy has been finding cute little things to fill his room with. I swear I’ve found a new hobby in washing and folding his little clothes – I mean how can you not love looking at tiny little socks and hats?

I’ve gone a little bit overboard on some of the things I’ve bought for him (or maybe me?). Here are a few little things I’ve added to his room and his wardrobe.

1. childHOODs Sweatpants: These were in my cart on Etsy for far to long. I finally bit the bullet and ordered a pair. Our little man will be wearing these home from the hospital.

2. Happy Camper Pennant from Strawberry Moth: When I discovered this shop on Etsy, the question was not if I was going to buy something, it was what I was going to buy. So many adorable options, but we decided on the Happy Camper design. *Wishful thinking*, right?

3. A Secret Holiday’s Be Brave Banner: I literally stalked her shop to make sure I could get one of these before they sold out, and I was lucky enough to snag one! I love the message on this banner, and it’s hanging right above his crib with some other fun finds.

4. Osh Kosh B’gosh Overalls: These were a must have for both Justin and I, and we were lucky enough to have Osh Kosh reach out to us and send us a big box full of clothes. When I opened the gift, I was blown away with what was inside: a onesie, a pea coat, these overalls, a pair of khakis with suspenders, little flannel shirt and a teddy. Totally our style, and we can’t wait to dress him in all the cuteness! We’re definitely going to be buying more from them!

5. Bandit by Maileg: I love the idea of rag dolls, and so I searched and searched for the perfect one for Baby H. I love woodland critters and this little bandit from Maileg seemed like the perfect little guy for him. I plan on taking his monthly pictures next to this guy!

6. Kith & Kin Diaper Bag: You guys, when I saw this diaper bag on Etsy, I knew I had to make it mine. I wanted a bag that wasn’t a traditional diaper bag, something leather or waxed canvas that would hold up and be suitable for Justin to carry if he needed to. I’m  also a fan of giant bags, and I wanted one that could act as a purse for me as well.  This bag fit all of my criteria and I’m so happy that this is what I went with!

7. Freshly Picked Moccs: These were one of those things that I almost purchase for my baby before I was even pregnant. I’m in love with Susan’s business and how she got started, and I loved watching her succeed on Shark Tank last January. I was lucky enough to win a pair of these cute little moccs, but I definitely want a pair in every size for our little guy.

8. Honest Diapers: I’ve known for a long time that when I have a child, I’d be using Honest diapers. Ever since I was introduced to Honest products at Alt Summit a few years back, I’ve been in love with the quality, design and packaging. After doing some research, we found out that having diapers delivered right to our door wasn’t much more than what we could buy in the stores, and having a plant-based diapers on my little guy’s bum sounds like a good plan to me.

Here are a few snapshots from Instagram – one of me the other day (36.5 weeks, yikes!) and one of his nursery wall.
