About Oh, What Love Studios
Hey there, Lovely!
I’m Mariah, and I’m the brains behind this little operation called Oh, What Love. I’m based out of the Iowa Quad Cities, but I work with brides from all around the country.
I believe that most brides have the same wedding as every other bride out there because they’re not sure where to start when it comes to planning the decor for their big day.
And that’s why I want to help you have a totally custom, personalized wedding day.
I think that each wedding day should reflect the the couple that’s standing with in it. It should have the personality of the bride and the humor of the groom. It should be full of special details that make the day special to them.
It should not be the same wedding set up as the bride who had her wedding at that venue last weekend.
I didn’t fall in love with weddings until I was planning my own and trying to make all the overwhelming decisions a bride has to make. I learned a lot during the wedding planning process, and I made it my goal and journey to help brides design a wedding that they will remember fondly for the rest of their lives.
My ideal bride is a woman who:
- has a love for vintage
- dreams of a wedding day that’s different than the others she has attended
- isn’t afraid to have someone help her make the hard decisions
- desires the little details that will make her wedding stand apart from the rest
- has a little bit of the hippie spirit in her
- couldn’t live without her favorite playlist
- is smart, creative, romantic, adventurous, confident and comfortable
You can get a clear picture of her here:
I started out as a graphic and web designer and then went to school for marketing. For the past few years I’ve been obsessed with learning the wedding business.
I understand design, color and aesthetic beauty. I read wedding blogs on a daily basis, constantly filing away great ideas and pinning gorgeous wedding photos on Pinterest.
For fun, my husband and I travel around the state going to auctions to find vintage and unique pieces for brides to use on their big day. We have lots of fun learning the history and background of these items, which adds even more personality to your wedding. I also own an antique store in my hometown.
I use my love for all things wedding, DIY, vintage, indie and handmade with my design background to come up with amazing ideas for your perfect day. Whether you need help with deciding a wedding style or want a custom invitation design, I put passion into all the work I do and strive for perfection on every project.
If you want to get to know me more or want some inspiration, you can follow me on Twitter or on Instagram. I share the most on these sites.
I’d love to help you with your wedding day in any way I can, take a wander through my list of services and I’m sure we can figure out a way to work together!
